Fresk is a Dutch brand with special baby products. Fresk's baby collection is fresh, sweet, stubborn and a bit retro. They make their cheerful and colorful baby collection with love. From pajamas, travel sleeping bags to generous swaddling cloths that can be used multifunctionally. The Fresk collection is designed with great care and attention and produced sustainably.

They use organic cotton for our products. Organic cotton is wonderfully soft for baby's skin and ensures a great fit and great wearing comfort.

Fresk chooses to make fair products. They think it is important to deal responsibly with our living environment. That is also why they use organic cotton. Many products have been awarded the GOTS quality mark, a worldwide quality mark that guarantees the production and processing of organic cotton.

Fresk is Scandinavian for fresh. Fresk stands for a fresh breeze, a new beginning. People at Fresk have Scandinavian roots. Fresk combines Dutch design with a touch of Scandinavia.

The GOTS quality mark

Fresk believes it is important to deal responsibly with our living environment. All products are made with care and attention, designed in the Netherlands and sustainably produced in Europe. Many Fresk products have been awarded the GOTS quality mark for organic fibres. To obtain the GOTS quality mark, Fresk must meet strict requirements.

What does this label mean?

The GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) quality mark is a textile processing standard for organic fibres. The quality mark is recognized worldwide. It is only awarded after independent certification for the entire textile chain. It gives the customer certainty about the biological status of the product.

What is GOTS useful for?

GOTS sets worldwide requirements that guarantee the biological status of textiles. The end user can be sure that the organic product meets those requirements. It is nice for textile treatment companies and manufacturers that they can market their organic fabrics and clothing with a globally accepted quality mark. The GOTS quality mark gives the customer certainty, but also all those involved in the production process.

Certification of the entire textile chain

The GOTS standard covers the entire textile chain: • the cultivation • the fiber processing into dust • the manufacture of the final product • the packaging, labelling, trade and distribution of all textiles made from at least 70% certified organic natural fibres.

Criteria for fiber, processing and production of organic fibers

Different requirements apply to the fibres, processing and production. Fibers must be natural and grown in an organic way. Synthetic crop protection products and fertilizers are not allowed.

The GOTS also sets requirements for the processing of the fiber into fabric and clothing. At each step, it is determined which additives may be used in order to achieve as much environmental benefit as possible. GOTS also sets social requirements in the field of labor rights (including minimum wage, prohibition of forced and child labor and a safe and hygienic working environment).
